Metallic Canvas

This OBA-free polyester/cotton canvas features a blend of metallic, silver, and pearlescent surface finishes that adds impact to photos and artwork that can’t be achieved on a standard canvas print. Since it's printed with eco-solvent inks, it is durable enough to be cleaned with water and mild detergent without requiring a top coat, and like all our giclee canvas, it won't crack when stretched or mounted. The metallic finish offers the outstanding color depth with maximum contrast. This canvas is printed at 1440 dpi with 6 color eco-solvent inks for a large color gamut with excellent print quality. Available in widths up to 60".

Favorite Features

The silver metallic finish creates a dramatic effect, especially with images that have bright, translucent or metallic elements, and saturation and vibrancy are enhanced on all images.

Drawbacks

The metallic effect is very glossy so glare can be a concern, and the depth of color tends to make images appear darker when viewed from certain angles.

Best Applications

Black and white photography looks especially good on metallic canvas, and lighter images or those with very vibrant colors tend to show off the effect the best.
