Extreme White Foam Board

This foam board features a resilient polystyrene core with bright white paper facers. This makes an ideal printing surface for maximum color depth and contrast. The resilient "memory" foam core springs back to shape when compressed, so it's more durable than standard foam boards where any indentations become permanent. Excellent for photo prints for framing, retail store signs, POP displays, and trade show exhibits. Available up to 48" x 96" sheets.

Indoor longevity of 5-25 years.

Favorite Features

It comes in 3/16" and 1/2" thicknesses. It's light weight and very rigid. The bright white face is excellent for directly printing. The core is more durable than regular foam board because it springs back to shape from slight to moderate dents.

Drawbacks

It's a paper board so it's has poor moisture resistance. It's a lower density foam board, so it's not as durable as foam boards with higher density cores. It comes in sheets so sizes are limited. Polystyrene isn't eco-friendly.

Best Applications

Posters in floor standing sign holders. Prints for framing. Any type of display where the graphic needs to be self supporting and light weight.
