Posterboard

This 1.2 mm environmentally friendly substrate is made from wood, water and starch is an industry standard for indoor retail signage. Cheaper than foam boards or styrene, it has a smooth matte finish and is printable on both sides for excellent looking, inexpensive indoor posters that are recyclable. The heavy weight makes this material rigid enough to stand on it's own in a variety of sign holders, and it works great with hanging systems. It's great for both single and double sided signs and posters and comes in 4' x 8' sheets. Fully recyclable, it can be direct printed for inexpensive, high quality posters, or it can be printed on paper or vinyl, then mounted on the posterboard for the highest image quality and a choice of finish.

Indoor longevity of 5-25 years.

Favorite Features

The heavy weight makes for a very rigid poster. It's our least expensive rigid poster option. It's eco-friendly if direct printed.

Drawbacks

It's a paper board so it's has poor moisture resistance. It comes in sheets so sizes are limited.

Best Applications

Posters in floor standing sign holders. Hanging posters. Other display applications that require a rigid print.
