This heavy weight corrugated polypropylene board is light weight, waterproof and very rigid due to the extra thickness, making it a good choice for longer lasting outdoor signs.
This heavy weight corrugated polypropylene board has an excellent strength to weight ratio. Known by trade names such as CoreX and Coroplast, it's light weight, waterproof and very rigid due to the extra thickness, making it a good choice for longer lasting outdoor signs. It's also a good choice for outdoor sign holders designed to hold a 10mm board and it can be installed on posts like standard outdoor sign faces. Available in 48” x 96” sheets.
Indoor longevity of 5-25 years, outdoor longevity of 1 to 2 years.
Favorite Features
It's very strong for it's weight. It's completely waterproof. It's recyclable.
Drawbacks
It's not a great choice for close up viewing because the flutes are visible in the print surface. It's not opaque so printing on one side can show through to the other side when there is strong light behind it.
Best Applications
Temporary outdoor sign faces. Graphics for outdoor displays that require a 10mm board.
