This gray back opaque polyester film produces outstanding color prints with excellent longevity. We recommend lamination for greater durability.
This glossy polyester film has a blockout layer on the back so no light can be transmitted through the material. It's printed at our highest resolution and image quality, resists edge curl, and has a glossy finish for rich, saturated colors. Polyester is very eco-friendly, and it's printed with water based inks for one of the most environmentally friendly graphics available. It’s an excellent choice for banner stand graphics, especially retractables and can be used as is for short term use, or as our Tradeshow Banner, which is this material with our 3 mil polycarbonate laminate. Available in widths up to 60".
It’s fade resistant for up to 50 years indoors.
Favorite Features
Incredible image quality and color depth. Completely opaque. Excellent fade resistance.
Drawbacks
The print is fairly fragile without lamination. It's not very tear resistant once cut.
Best Applications
When laminated with our 3mil polycarbonate, we call this Trade Show Banner, and it's our Premium Banner option for retractable and portable banner stands. It can also be used unlaminated, which is less expensive, but it would be fragile in that case.
If you are ordering your banner with grommets, the best way to hang it is to put some tension on the grommets so the banner is pulled tight and hangs flat. If you are using banner hanging hardware to hang the banner without grommets, follow the instructions that came with your hardware. We sell banner hanging systems that are inexpensive, make for a great looking hanging display, and don't require any special finishing on the banner. If your banner is being installed in a display, see the installation instructions for the model you are using. Be sure to choose the correct finishing options to match the type of banner display you have. For example, if you are using an X-banner stand, you will need grommets in the corners of the banner. If you are unsure, tell us in the Special Instructions what display you have so we can make sure the finishing is correct for that specific purpose.
